this is how i do it.

Ingredients

5 lemons
3Ouncesugar
3Ouncewater
2Pintmore water

Instructions

- juice the lemons, saving a couple of the rinds

- put the 3 oz sugar and the 3 oz water in a pan on high heat. stir occasionally until sugar has dissolved (i.e. vanished).

- pour both into a pitcher, and add water until it tastes right.

- add the rinds and serve over ice

Notes

- 3 oz is about 90 mL. you can use maybe 4 oz of sugar (and the same amount of water) for a sweeter flavor.
