Description

this is a sweet and savory one-pot dinner to keep you going through the cold months

Ingredients

  • 400 g black pudding
  • 400 g brussels sprouts
  • 3 apples
  • 2 knobs of butter
  • 1⁄2 c wine or vinegar

Instructions

  1. steam the brussels sprouts for 10-15 minutes
  2. slice the apples
  3. get a big pot; put on a medium burner; put butter and black pudding in the pot
  4. put apples in the pot, too
  5. add the brussels sprouts
  6. add the wine or vinegar
  7. cook for another half hour or so, turning the black pudding at least once. be careful that you don't tear the casing, but it actually doesn't matter if you do.
  8. serve with salt!

Notes

you can slice the black pudding beforehand but it's not necessary
