Description
This recipe is at least forty years old, from my aunt. It's a mainstay in my parents' house at Christmas.
Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 c crushed vanilla wafers, or digestive biscuits
- 1 c powdered sugar
- 2 T cocoa powder
- 1 c finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans work well)
- 1 c shredded or grated coconut
- 1⁄4 c bourbon (or rum)
- 3 T sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- mix biscuits, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, nuts and coconut
- add milk, booze. mix well
- form into appropriate sized balls
- roll in more powdered sugar
- store in fridge
